Support for shelters and IDPs
We are organizing and equipping Temporary Shelter Centers.
Our first shelter, located in the village of Lukivtsi, Chernivtsi region, has already opened its doors to 30 people.
With grant support from the United Nations Program for the Restoration and Peacebuilding and financial support of the European Union, we are continuing to equip the Center. Once completed, the shelter will be able to accommodate up to 60 people.
We are setting up the shelter as part of a project together with the NGO Active Community".
In May 2022, Girls launched a large-scale project, Support for IDPs in Ukraine" in conjunction with the international organization World Vision. As part of the 12-month project, Girls will provide psychological, social, humanitarian, legal, and educational support to internally displaced persons in four regions: Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Odesa and Zakarpattya.
